SIZING:- Kitten:
- 12-16 weeks. To test, try a nail cap on first without the adhesive. If it looks too big, dont glue it on. The nail cap should fit snugly, like a glove.The nail caps can also be trimmed to fit if needed.
- Kittens up to about 5 months of age and 5 pounds body weight generally fit into the kitten size.
- Small
- Approximately 6 months of age.
- Approximately 6-8 pounds.
- Some kittens at 5 months may need the small size if they are growing fast or are large-breed cats.
- Small-boned adult cats often wear the small size. If your cat seems smaller than an average full-grown cat, choose small.
- Medium
- Approximately 9-13 pounds. Most adult average sizecats wear medium.
- Large
- Approximately 14 pounds and up. Very large-boned and large-breed cats wear large. Maine Coons, for example, are very large cats and generally wear large.

Trim your cat's nails
Please note: If you do not regularly trim your cats nails or if your cat is not accustomed to having its paws handled, it may be reluctant to let you do so at first. This is natural and may be overcome easily by taking a few minutes each day for several days to gently massage your cats feet with your fingers. It is also helpful to have someone restrain your cat to free both your hands to work. Kittens under three months do not require nail trimming.
For best results, make sure your cats nails are clean and free from dust and grit before you begin. If the nails need cleaning, a cotton swab moistened with alcohol may be used.
With a pair of pet nail clippers, trim only the very narrow tip of your cat's nails.
Apply adhesive to caps
Select nail cap sizes that will cover at least 3/4 of each nail.
Remove adhesive tube cap and cut off tip. Insert nozzle completely into nail cap and fill 1/3 of cap with adhesive do not over fill. Before beginning application, fill all ten caps with adhesive.
Apply caps to nails
Extend cat's nail by grasping paw between thumb and forefinger and gently push nail forward from the top until fully exposed. Slide nail cap fully onto nail.
