- Wheeling Backpack Review by Peaches
I searched all over for a economically priced backpack for my 7 pound dog and came across this one. With the prices of all the other carriers that were wheeled and backpack, I was skeptical but I knew if I was not pleased I could send it back. I am happy to say, I will be keeping it. This bag met all my requirements and my dog is comfortable in it. I did add cushioning to the bottom for added comfort. I was so pleased, I recommended it to my son for his 4 pound chihuahua. - Posting dates? Review by Perplexed
Why are all the reviews on this site posted on the same date... (3/10/11)...posting this on 5/11/11 to test...if it posts correctly, wondering if site owners faked reviews...
ValuePetSupplies Note: 3/10/11 is the date we imported our 3.000+ reviews from our old site to the current site. I will remove this review after a while since it does not talk about the actual product. (Posted on 5/11/11)
- Great Product!! Review by X
Great product!! Makes carrying my little one so much easier than a shoulder/hand carrier. I just wish it had been just a wee bit bigger. (Posted on 3/10/11)
- Good but heavy Review by Cassie's Mom
I don't have a car, so I take my dog to the vet/grooming/boarding on the trolley. I use the backpack during rush hours. It's useful but very heavy, even without the dog. I keep thinking maybe I should have gotten a wheeled carriage instead. (Posted on 3/10/11)
- Glad I didn't return it! Review by Austin cat lover
The first time I took my cats to the vet in these carriers, 3 people asked where I got them! I got 2 and my cats immediately started playing in them, but I was sure they were too small for my 11 and 14 lb "kids" to travel in. Turns out the cats can lie down when the carrier is flat and they actually seem to like sitting up in it when I'm wheeling it upright or carrying it as a backpack, which surprised me. I had trouble getting all the supports set up correctly at first, but once I got the side and bottom supports in, it's very sturdy. The carrier seemed a little heavy initially, but the straps are padded nicely so it was very comfortable to carry as a back pack and the cats seem to feel secure. I just suggest you don't shift the carrier from flat to upright too quickly as the cat needs time to adjust and sit up on the bottom. I also think it's too small for long trips, but for short trips it's really great. Also, the wheels are sturdy and roll smoothly and I could easily roll two next to each other with one hand. I usually struggle taking all 3 cats to the vet, but with these carriers it was much easier! (Posted on 3/10/11)
- Awesome find!! Quality and value! Review by Semele
The material feels and looks more dense, durable than the price comparable products out there.
I just cant see myself lugging a purse while trying to balance doggy tote or duffel bag carrier. It rolls, its lightweight. I purchased a 19 X 20 Kennel mat (with removable cover) to increase my Pushkin's comfort in itand guess what it doubles as a travel doggy bed and I use it as a cart seat - And I saved 40.00. Thrilled with this carrier! (Posted on 3/10/11)
- Great product- Review by Lynn
I have travled with this carrier for over 3 yrs approx 20-25 round trips each year. It is just now showing a little wear and tear. My Maltese loves it. (Posted on 3/10/11)
- Happy with Purchase Review by Rico
We have an Italian Greyhound 17lbs that fits comfortably when upright or when bag is flat. Have not taken it on the plane. However it's the same dimensions as the old Sherpa duffle we have. (Posted on 3/10/11)
- Back pack worked while in Key West, Fl Review by China
We used this for a 12 lb Chi/Pug mix once she was tired of walking the city over. She would not sit down in it as I think a small pillow or cushion in the bottom would have helped. She did stand inside of it while on my back and put her paws on my back and watched where we were going. she never tried to jump out. Don't believe i could have zipped her up inside of it though. It was nice to have but a little uncomfortable after awhile on my tailbone. The smaller the dog the better I think. (Posted on 3/10/11)
- Love it Review by Jenn, John and lil Stewie
We love this carrier! The only thing we could do to make it better would be able to hook it to our bikes but we may figure out a way to in the future. We love and our puppy is not quite used to it but he is only 14 weeks old, so he will learn. It was exactly what we wanted and did not cost an arm and leg. (Posted on 3/10/11)
