Nylabone FlexiChew Bar B Chew Cob Bacon Large

I first bought the corn for my dog about 2 years ago, and it has lasted that long. My dog absolutely loves the corn. He chews it just about every day and carries it around with him around the house. This is hands down his favorite chew toy. I should say that he is a moderate chewer, so that is why it has lasted so long. I just bought this three pack to stock up because I noticed they no longer had it at the pet store. The price for this 3 pack is an amazing deal because 1 costs almost as much at the pet store. This is my dogs favorite toy.We thought it may be the bacon flavor she liked but when we got her plain bacon Nylabones she just wasn't interested.I'm guessing it's the textures she enjoys. She is an aggressive chewer so they don't last more than a couple weeks for us(says right on package that it's for MODERATE chewers).However, they are still totally worth the cost.Who knows how much we save on vet trips to have her teeth cleaned! The first time I purchased the Large Nylabone Corn it was from a local pet store. I wasn't sure how durable it would be until I got it home. My dog LOVED it! The only problem is that he destroys it pretty quickly. The softer yellow "corn" end pieces can be easily chewed off in small pieces that can be swallowed. Upon investigation online, I discovered that this product is intended for "moderate" chewers only. Apparentely my Frenchies are "powerful" chewers! Despite the fact that they don't last very long, I have continued to buy these because both of my dogs really love these chews! I have bought maybe 6 of them so far, and will continue to buy them. You just have to supervise chewing time (which you should do anyway with any chew), to assure no pieces are choked on or swallowed. (Posted on 3/10/11)
