The Kong Tug is 13" long.
- Don't bother, half hard plastic Review by Greg
Your Rating Product Kong 13IN Rubber Dog Tug Toy This looks like its all "kong rubber" in the picture but it is not. The black parts on the ends and in the middle are regular rubber and the red parts are hard plastic with lots of "ridges" on the back side that they never show in the pictures. I was hoping that my 9 month old puppies could really get some good exercise tugging on this thing with each other, in actuality they got about 5 minutes of tug of war out of it before they went to work on the rubber parts, getting all of the rubber off in the first day. I am letting them chew up the hard plastic pieces, but only because I don't think that it can hurt them and its better then chewing something valuable. (Posted on 3/10/11)
- NEEDS IMPROVEMET Review by Kim12321
Your Rating Product Kong 13IN Rubber Dog Tug Toy Purchased this for our aggressive-chewer Weimaraner. This is my first disappointment from Kong as it's made of hard plastic and he would destroy it in a very short time if left unsupervised. Best suited for smaller, non-aggressive chewers. - I would not use for strong dogs Review by Dawn
Your Rating Product Kong 13IN Rubber Dog Tug Toy I would not use for my dogs because it easy for them chew in pieces and is not very strong, durable, not hard plastic. It is very soft plastic. This would be great for active small dogs that do not chew plastics and just plays tug of war with you. (Posted on 3/10/11)
