This product has worked so well to eliminate the staining around my bichon's eyes and mouth, that I came back to get the large size bottle. The best part is that his breath smells like when he was a puppy - and he's 12 years old! I haven't noticed any adverse effects during the time he's been getting Angels Eyes. We had hopeful questions when we started using Angels Eyes on our near white Shih tsu. Because we keep her face hair short, we were able to tell a difference within a few days! She didn't like the taste of it though, so I put it in pill form, using some gel capsules I have. I put the pill in the back of her mouth, close her mouth and rub her throat. As soon as she gets it down, she gets her favorite treat - some cat treats. She still doesn't relish the procedure, but we are thrilled with her nearly totally white face in just two weeks! I am using only about 1/3 - 1/2 as much powder as instructed because she got a warm nose and diarrhea following the full dose. Her hair has continued to grow in white! Awesome! I am always skeptical, since a lot of pet products seem like "money makers" & I never know what to believe or trust. I trusted our vet's word & tried Angel Eyes (chicken) for our new Yorkie, who is already 4 yrs old when we got him last month.
Shipping is super fast - came within 3 days of ordering (& it was during holiday rush).
He ate it on his food w/no problem. It's only been 2 wks & we noticed a HUGE difference already!!! There definitely is 75% less staining. And around mouth area feels soft also. I'm definitely buying the larger size, now that I know this product is working on our Yorkie.

Have been using Angel Eyes now about a yr. on my toy poodles. My silver ones eyes were really staining from the tears & dirt so knew I needed to do something he looked so terrible. I first bought a 240 gram bottle of beef Angel Eyes which I finally ended giving to my neighor as my puppy hated it . I forced my puppy to take it for at least 3 weeks and his eyes cleared up. I got tear stain remover from PetSmart and it works ok but I saw the sale for Angel eyes and thought I'd by the 30 gram bottle of chicken flavor and give it a try. My li'l white dog had those runny red eye stains. Angel Eyes was recommended multiple times, so I got it.
Within a week I saw great results.
I wish it were a more "instant" solution, instead of months of usage. And, since he only gets dry dog food, I have been mixing the Angel Eyes powder with peanut butter to get "the medicine to go down" every morning.

I found that I had to mix the angeleyes with yogourt to get Sammmy to eat it. He loves yogourt so it was easy to get him to eat it. It definately works. I have two beautiful Havanese. Struggling with the tearing and red stains caused by the tearing was a constant battle. Within only days after using Angel Eyes the tears changed consistency and amount of tearing. Rather than watery which soaked into the fur, the discharge was a lot less, thicker, and white, which is much easier to wipe clean. The fur under his eyes is definitely growing in white rather than stained red. He has been groomed once since beginning treatment with the Angel Eyes. No doubt that with his next grooming all the stained fur can be cut and he will be beautifully white under eyes and through his mustache and beard. The only negative comment I have is that the discharge took on a very musky odor. Prior to using this product, children would ask if my Maltese dog's eyes were bleeding! Now her eyes look great and you'd never guess she'd had a problem. I use this regularly -- it prevents the problem but if I quit using it for very long, the red stains start coming back. I strongly recommend this product to anyone with a pet with the redish brown stained eyes problem. The hair has to grow out a bit around the eyes before you can really tell how well it is working. At first my dogs didn't like the taste but after a few days, no problem. My dogs had VERY bad tearing problems & before my first order is all gone the problem is gone! It is an amazing product that my vet says is alright to use. My rescuded Shih Tzu had such a drainage problem & his eyes were bright red all the time, not any more. This product does what it says and more. My little Maltese had very stained eye areas, and now after a few weeks the area is CLEAN. He also was a finicky eater, but when I sprinkle the Angel Eyes on his food, he eats all of his food immediately. (Posted on 3/10/11)

Bailee, my phantom schnauzer seems to have slowed down a lot on the tear stains by using Angels Eyes. She is going to the groomer tomorrow, so I should really be able to tell a difference after some of the stained hair is cut off. The biggest difference I can tell is in her breath - it's amazing! Before using Angels Eyes, she had yeasty smelling doggie breath - now she has no breath smell at all! It's great! I had heard many things about Angel Eyes, good and bad but when my vet recommended it I tried it and it is terrific. Within three weeks my puppy's eyes were noticeably more clean and clear. Since my dog was a puppy, he has had issues with tear stains. He is a white dog so it is more prevalent in white colored dogs. It helps control the tear stains, but does not entirely eliminate them as I still need to clean his eyes. This is unique of my dog and not necessarily the case with other dogs. i put 1/2 tsp. in murphy's food in the morning and mix it with a little water. murphy's food is chicken, so i bought the chicken flavor angel eyes. i was surprised to find that the container was only 75% full. make a 240g container, don't but 240g in a 420g container. murphy has no problem eating his food with the angel eyes in it and his eye gunk has decreased. I put this product in my mini poodle's food & make sure he eats it, If he goes a few days without it his eyes get juicy and crusty again which proves it works! I know he is more comfortable too.
