Your Rating This fountain has been an effective distraction for my kitty who loves water. She no longer drinks from the toilet or jumps up on the sink. If only she would cut down on trying to stick he head in my glasses of water! I was cheap at first and didn't get the cleaning brushes or additional filters. I gave in and it does make it easier to clean and keep clean. I am not bothered by the sound of it either.

Your Rating I love the drinkwell fountains, but they are NOT easy to clean--hard to get the motor off, and there are many tiny corners and crevices. I thought this kit would help. WRONG! You are better off going to a hardware store after you purchase the fountain and looking for what brushes you think you'll use. I have three cats, I completely disassemble it weekly and change the filter, it still can get slimy in between. I wish they'd develop a new drinkwell fountain that is easier to clean, I'd buy it. Your Rating The Drinkwell Cleaning Kit is worth the purchase price. I did not buy the cleaning kit until I had the unit a year. Wish I would have bought it at the beginning. The kit makes cleaning all those tough spots a breeze. Do yourself a favor and buy it! (Posted on 3/10/11)
