Your Rating My 8 yr old German Shepherd (rescued last year) came to us with broken and/or abscessed teeth. After 4 root canals and several extractions, he still loves to chew on soft toys and tennis balls, but tennis balls aren't safe for unsupervised chewing. The Senior Kong is perfect for him because it has a bit more firmness than his squeakys plush toys and is much safer than a tennis ball. Plus he LOVES it, tosses it around when playing by himself, chases it, etc. Added benefit is its amazing durability. (Posted on 3/10/11)
