The Commander Chew is a large beef saddle bone that will provide your large sized dog with hours of chew time. Your Rating We use Merrick Commander saddle bones to satisfy the chewing needs of our three German shepherd dogs, and they are favorites! Even with them, these bones last a good while and keep them very occupied. They're a clean(er) alternative to the packaged knuckles/ends with meat residue, which can stain and, in our case, had unintended digestive side effects (ewww). They're clean enough to use indoors, generally just leaving a few bone "crumbs" to vacuum up. Good product, great for power-chewing big dogs. (Posted on 3/10/11)
