It takes them a year to wear the bones down to 3-4 inches - they sure do love to chew! and the added bonus - very healthy teeth and gums per my vets yearly exams (2 dogs are 10 yrs old) without a teeth cleaning! Your Rating Just right for their mouths and love it, but just be careful when they have it down to a very very small size so that they will not swallow it. Just throw the small piece away and buy them a new one as soon as it gets small. It last a long time for about 6 or 7 months also. Both dogs love it. Any toys that we buy from Value Pet Supplies all lasts up to 6 or 7 months.
