Exo Terra Natural Advanced Habitat Terrarium 18" x 18" x 12" is ideal for ground dwelling reptile and amphibians. Especially desert reptile species benefit from these lower sizes as the ultraviolet and heat bulbs are even closer to the animal. The 3 new lower sizes are specially designed for desert set-ups, since most desert species are ground dwellers and do not move vertically. Although very similar in shape and size as the "aquarium-type" tanks, these new versions have all the great features of the typical Exo Terra terrarium

Best tank for my leo's

These tanks are amazing! The doors open wide so you can arrange, feed, clean from the front. The screened top has the sliders in the back so you can hide your wires thru them & down behind the styrofoam if you so wish; it is in there good but can also be taken out if you want - in 1 solid piece. I have a few different brands and this Exo Terra is truly my all time favorite I LOVE it and best of all my Leo's LOVE it! Them being happy is the most important and they truly are happier in this tank.

Our leopard Gecko is about 8 month old and I upgraded from a 10g to a 20g tank. We love the doors on the side! The only thing we took out was the foam rock formation on the back. Crickets tend to get lost in it and I didn't like that pieces had broken off of it. Otherwise the tank is wonderful. I would highly recommend it.

Best purchase I've ever made

My new Leo loves his terrarium it's the first time he's had such a nice big place to explore and seeing him wander around in such curiosity is actually so adorable this is a great terrarium especially the front opening doors and I'm so glad no to find this beautiful terrarium unbroken
