I love that the tendons are not tiny little strips, they are big enough to keep a big dog busy for a bit. I have Rottweilers and they are strong chewers. They LOVE these. Bonus is that this is a healthy option for joint care and teeth cleaning.
Buying these tendons in bulk saves me a lot of money. Tendons are great quality and they are one of the few treats I give my dogs.
Seems like a good value, volume wise, however, the package of beef tendons had a very strong smell, even through the delivery box, so I have stored it in a double plastic bag and I’m hoping that it doesn’t get moldy because there seems to be a lot of moisture in the product.
These stink so much that I thought I stepped in poop when I brought the box inside. When I opened the box and touched a tendon, my hands smelled like death. Literal death. Disgusting! There’s no way I will be able to open the package again, let alone touch the product, nor give it to my dog. The smell is PUTRID! I don’t want this box inside, but I can’t leave it outside bc it’ll attract animals. If I had a shovel I’d bury it until I can return it.
