What size are XL Puppy Pads?

Extra Large pee pads are typically around 1,000 square inches and are currently available in three sizes: 28" x 36" pad, 30" x 36" pad, and 28" x 34" pad. The larger pad allows for more absorption material and covers larger floor space.

How big should a Pee Pad be?

Puppy pads are available in various sizes, but going larger is better when you have a large dog or puppies. Large dogs will likely have a higher capacity bladder and require the larger pads to absorb the urine and prevent over-saturation. It also allows for a larger spot for the dog to urinate on. When raising puppies in the same area, larger pads are ideal for collecting the multiple small pee spots between floor cleanings. It is more likely you will choose a pad too small than a pad too big!

What is the difference between the kinds of Puppy Pads?

Our pads are available in various absorbency levels to suit your dog's needs. All pads contain fluff and a polypropylene backing to prevent leaks. As the absorbancy quality goes up, so does the super-absorbent polymer (SAP) grams per square/inch, increasing the overall absorbency power. In the higher absorbency options, we also offer carbon to help neutralize odors.
