What’s a bully stick?
Bully sticks are a completely natural treat made from pure beef and buffalo pizzle that has been smoked, baked or dried to form an extremely durable stick (or curly spring! or ring! or braid!) that will occupy your dog for a very long time.
Our signature ValueBull Bully Sticks are available in a variety of lengths (most popularly 6 inch and 12 inch but many lengths are available) as well as a range of thicknesses from the small-dog delight of Extra Thin to our challenging Super Jumbo bully sticks for mega dogs with bear-trap jaws.
Like rawhide, bully sticks are meant to be chewed on for a long time, gnawed and peeled apart by busy chewers. Unlike rawhide, Bully Sticks are completely digestible. They are made of actual meat and break down quickly when chewed and swallowed. They are also processed far more simply - no bleaches, preservatives, or additives.
Bully sticks have a distinct aroma which we can all but guarantee is going to drive your dog bananas. Some humans are not particularly fond of the scent however, so if you must feed your bully-lovers indoors, we have a large variety of odor-reduced bully sticks including our amazing line of Bully sticks Made in the USA.
Not only are bully sticks a remarkably low-fat, high protein delicacy - they will also do wonders for your pup’s smile. The tough texture of our steer sticks acts like nature’s toothbrush, gently scrubbing away the plaque and tartar on your dog’s teeth and stimulating their gums as they chew.
Which Bully Stick Is Right for My Dog?
It might take some trial and error because every dog is unique, but in general you should buy based on size. A smaller dog might lovingly chomp on a single “thin” bully stick for days but your megalodon rottweiler will need something a little more substantial.
